Celebrating Small Business Week with the SBA

Started in 1963 by President John F. Kennedy, Small Business Week was originated to recognize small businesses’ contribution to America’s economic well being. Almost fifty years later, the program is still going strong, and has also made great strides in extending its digital reach. This year, The Small Business Administration has a number of ways for you keep your finger on the pulse of what’s going on, including:

• The SBA’s official twitter account, @SBAgov, will be live tweeting during panel discussions, speakers and networking events.

• All events will be webcasted live. Check out the SBA website for more information.

• The SBA will also post a highlight reel, complete with video and interviews after the program concludes. You view last year’s video here.
