The 40 Under 40 is Crain’s annual list celebrating the accomplishments of 40 people who have achieved great success in business before their 40th birthday. This year, OnDeck’s first employee and now our CEO, Noah Breslow, was chosen by a panel of editors at Crain’s as part of this year’s list of high achievers.
Noah joined OnDeck in 2007 prior to the most challenging economic period in the U.S. since the Great Depression, spending the last 10 years dedicated to helping small businesses access the capital they need to fuel growth and fund their cash flow needs. By leveraging technology to streamline and simplify time-consuming, paper-based small business lending processes, Noah and OnDeck have put over $2 billion into the hands of business owners since 2007.
Small business lending is an important part of helping small businesses make communities strong and our economy grow. A recent study conducted by the Analysis Group for OnDeck found that OnDeck’s first $1 billion in loans created 22,000 jobs and $3.43 billion in economic impact in the U.S.
